Our website maintenance service aims to provide just this.
If your web site had a problem right now, who would you call? How quickly can you get in touch with your web developer? Did he put you with a third party hosting company? Who’s your domain registrar? These sound like simple questions, but can be frustrating to answer when your site is down and you’re losing money.
Our service is all inclusive. By using us as your one stop shop, you can cut out the confusion and let us handle it for you.
The monthly fee we charge includes both your hosting package (which houses all the files, pictures and code of your website) along with the maintenance plan where we go in and continually update your website backend to make sure its to the latest standards.
By hosting with us, you will get continued site maintenance. This will ensure all plugins and add-ons are up to date. Often times we use paid plugins, and this allows us to offset the cost to you as a client. If you were to use the plugins on your own hosting platform, you would be required to pay the license fees that come with it.
You have three options.
1) We can build the website on your hosting platform, however any and all paid plugins used to build your site would have to be purchased by you as the owner and maintained by yourself.
2) We can cancel your current hosting platform and migrate over to Perfect Media.
3) You can continue to use your current hosting package and purchase our maintenance plan ($20/mo) that would allow us to keep your site and any extra plugins / add-ons up to date for you automatically.
Yes we will make minimal updates for you if you have purchased our hosting or maintenance plans. We will make quick edits at any time, however all edits may take 24-48 hours to be updated as other projects may currently be ahead of your request. Larger requests such as creating new pages or all new content may be charged accordingly for time of work performed.
Yes. We actually encourage you to make edits to your website. We will provide you with your own personal login details to the administration area of your website and offer a brief tutorial of making such edits. If you have any questions, we recommend asking before making changes.
Yes. Whether you choose to purchase through us or any third party registrar service. You will need a domain name for your website. This is simply the “.com” of your website.
Yes you can most definitely purchase any of our add-on services at any time. However, we generally recommend adding the services up front as they all help your website and business with search engines and marketing.
